Affordable and livable housing.

Hello. I was born in Tonapah NV and have lived in Nevada most my life. I understand the issues that may come with section 8 housing, but am concerned that most the communities that would benefit from it most do not have it. Upon investigation I couldn't necessarily find the reason but these factors seem to keep it from many NV communities. People taking advantage of the program whether participants or people running the program. Cost for construction. Land availability. The one that got me most, was apparently funds that were already given and then misused. This seems to be a very common issues across the states. How do you plan to combat these issues and what are the thoughts in regards to abuse of funds for these much needed programs? One can not ask for help if they know none exists. One can not be forced to live in a larger city because help only exists there.
