I’m 78 living in a modular home community. I do not own the land. I’m on a fixed income, no other assets or pension. At this stage in this situation, Seniors should not have to pay taxes on contents. This is a struggle for us. Contents of my home would probably not total over $1500-$2000. Appliances and furniture are old. Rent here is over $1000 a month. House needs repairs but I cannot afford to do them.
