Cut Healthcare Costs

The state should develop their own pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) system to save significant money on drug costs for PEBP, Silver State Health Plans, Medicare and Medicaid. At least five other states have done this and are now saving millions of dollars that were being siphoned off from the insurance companies managing their own pharmacies.
