Every human being deserves the right to get adequate legal meds to control severe pain

Someday you, or a loved one, may be in an accident, get a serious disease, need surgery, experience a painful birth, face painful end of life, or come down with chronic pain. I am 76 years old, and live with level 8-9.5 everyday. I had an injury which caused damage to my cervical spine. For 26 years I was on a pain med which allowed me to continue to work and socialize. Today, because that pain med is no longer allowed by physicians, pharmacies, or hospitals, I must spend 10-12 hours every day in bed or a recliner. The state of NV needs to join other states and pass a law to protect patients , physician and pharmacists who prescribe opioids to those who have documented evidence of need. The WAR ON OPIOIDS, which was suppose to protect our children from the horrors of illegal Fentanyl, OxyContin, etc., NOW is a WAR ON THOSE IN PAIN.

Pain meds should be granted to the people that need them. Why should they suffer in pain daily if it’s helping them to have a social life.

I'd rather be in pain and have my mind than to be numb to the world. The pain isn't gone, you just don't care that you're in pain with some meds.
