Lack of revenue for state services

From "Welcome to The Nevada Forum!"

Go to the project

Sufficient revenue. Nevada's lack of revenue is *the* key reason our state lags in so many areas, from education to mental health. We cannot fund the services that we need and want, especially with our growing population. It's very difficult to make progress on this issue because taxation and government spending are such partisan flashpoints that people don't look past their ideological stances to the practical realities that our state faces. The outcomes that we want and need cost money to realize, and we need to get serious about paying for them in a sustainable way.

Sounds like a California mindset and that is the real problem I have an idea, let’s slow the process of building mass housing so more people come here If you don’t build it they will not come

One sustainable idea might be to stop giving tax breaks to large corporations.
