Lack of variety in our economy.

Didn't DreamWorks plan a new studio here in Vegas and it was rejected? Same with Paramount? also rejected. We're also getting professional sports teams and the services that rely on their performances and health rejuvenation care. We could invite more data centers to be built.

Don't forget tourism! That is probably the single most important income source in the state of Nevada and it is a fragile one. Now that fuel prices are climbing rapidly tourism will be effected which has a ripple effect throughout other businesses. I would like to see more effort made on exploring and encouraging income sources that do not rely on tourism. DO NOT include data centers or wind towers, those are very detrimental to our fragile desert environments and don't generally provide much additional employment or interaction with local businesses once they are constructed.
