Lack of Youth / Creating future criminals

I live in Northeastern Nevada. Every time our community puts something for our youth to do, they always end up being more for adults or their time gets cut to hardly nothing. I personally feel like if we had more opportunity for our children to play, roller skate, ice skate or even swimming. Our teen pregnancy and drug over doses would slow down. We live in a 24/7 state for adults. We need to think about our children's future more than we do. I am a product of the place I grew up in. I've been almost 40 years. I feel our children deserve better opportunities they're not being given out side of school.

activities don't deter crime, knowing principles and morals does. Being able to empathize with and for others is important too. Knowing how to fight, when it's appropriate and when knowledge is more important a tool to use instead of a fist. These are things Fathers teach, that no before or after school activity will ever teach. It's not society's burden to teach your kid not to be violent to others. It's yours.
