Less divisiveness, better communication

There are so many things to choose from, but most could be solved by encouraging better communication and less divisiveness. We need to become a community again - talking with one another, trusting that we each want the same things: safety, security and respect. We just see different ways of getting that. Instead, we function in our separate echo chambers, not sure who or what to believe, as we struggle with so much misinformation and examples of incivility from the highest levels of government. We can't do much about that right now. Instead we need to control what we can control and that means making changes locally to build trust and honest communication. As Maya Angelou said: "We are more alike than we are not alike." We need to remember that and act accordingly.
