Motion to Impeach Gov. Joe Lombardo

Hello, thank you for reading this. Let me first say that I am anti-partisan for the same reasons George Washington outlined about partisan politics destroying the US, which it is. And I didn't like Sisolak either, as evidenced by the amount of my lambasting him on his social media. However, Lombardo has a particular level of disconcerting references on Twitter (X) to wanting to make Nevada into Texas, regardless of what the voters want. This means he is unwilling and incapable of doing his job. Some of the issues that are alarming and could very much negatively impact Nevadans include (but are not limited to), and please, feel free to fact check me: * Lombardo's want to end abortion for any reason, which is not only out of step with Nevadan's voters, but also ridiculously dangerous. It allows for women to be raped or for incestuous situations to largely go unpunished but for a girl or woman who has been traumatized to be forced to carry an unwanted zygote forced upon her. Additionally, he would make it a crime for a woman to have an nonviable pregnancy, and touts Texas response of criminalizing women for miscarriages. Texas made the news several years ago when a woman lost her life because she was forced to continue an unsafe pregnancy that complicated other health issues, causing her death. Her corpse, legally brain dead and on life support, was forced to remain on life support --to give birth to a child that did not survive. Georgia has now done the same thing. And in Ohio, the ten year old rape and incest victim was told to consider her unwanted child a "gift from god". A ten year old child. In 2024, Nevadans overwhelmingly passed the amendment to the state constitution codifying abortion as a protected right, and in complete opposition of that, Gov. Lombardo has already tried to make it harder for teenagers to obtain abortions--even in cases of rape. * Lombardo frequently makes statements supporting ICE, which deliberately omit key points of the conversation in the questionable morals and legalities around ICE and their actions, including the illegal detaining of Native Americans and killing of American citizens without just cause or provocation. In New York, the DOJ just admitted to obtaining warrants based on erroneous information "obtained" by ICE--making those warrants illegal and invalid. In Colorado, ICE agents have been distributing 'death' calling cards with the ace of spades warning people they're coming. Throughout the nation, citizens protesting or recording ICE (a legally protected right as long as it does not interfere with an investigation) telling citizens exercising their 1st Amendment Redress rights that they are "domestic terrorists". And in Los Angeles and Texas, protestors are being persecuted for ....wearing the color black. Gov. Lombardo is far more concerned about pandering to his party affiliation and spreading hate, misinformation, omitting information, and causing divisionism through fear than he is in representing the people of Nevada, who are constitutionally guaranteed rights of due process, regardless of where they're born or what their citizenship status is. (This was granted by the Civil War amendments in particular.) Lombardo has not intervened when ICE illegally seized DMV data here in Nevada. * Lombard allows workers to suffer under horrifically inadequate pay scales while allowing corporate landlords to price gouge his constituents, with no relief in sight. Lombardo has done nothing about NV Energy price gouging some Nevadans by zip code while giving breaks to the rich and rich institutions like golf courses. * Lombardo has done nothing to expand state Medicaid or social service relief while citizens are being price gouged on food and household goods. * Lombardo has done nothing about expanding public transportation, and has not even bothered to condemn the illegal bombings in Venezuela and Iran that benefit big oil and the war machine. * Lombardo is on board with rolling back environmental protections and the EPA. This has nothing to do with him personally. I keep a litany of all unqualified politicians on both sides. This has everything to do with the fact Nevada deserves better.
