Nursing Compact Licensure

Most US states participate in the Nursing Compact License. This allows a licensed nurse to work in any state that participates. It allows nurses to travel freely ina state to work without have to painfully obtain a license in each state to be allowed to work. Just as a driver's License is valid in all 50 states and most of the world, a nurses License should be valid also. And , of course, acknowledge each states policies.
