I am the fundraising chair for the Washoe county GOP. I am very interested in creating a pups and politics in the park event, where we could have candidates from all sides come and speak. At the same time guests can bring their pets and enjoy a social gathering. SPCA and other pet advocacys could also come and participate, providing adoption opportunities. Vendors and conservation groups can also be included. What say you?

This is an excellent idea and really a good way for our community to get to know what each candidate true intentions are when it comes to our pets and displaced animals in the valley! I would be very interested in helping get this idea into reality so if the author of this post would like to contact me about helping get things going please feel free to contact me!
