Proper treatment

Hi my name is Tina Wilkins I was a resident in the battle for over 30 years had some issues with the police and how they handle their things I was arrested at my home for traffic ticket which you're not supposed to arrest people for traffic tickets no more the officer abused me he took me to jail where I was abused for 3 days I had three officers put hands on me I came home covered in bruises I was put in a cell and forgotten about I was not giving medical I was not giving my phone right so I was not giving nothing I was lucky to receive five Mills in 3 days my water was shut off to myself I was told to drink out of the toilet that I pooped and peed in and nothing was done about it everybody thought it was some sort of joke or a sideshow I have chronic PTSD and what was done to me and power boulevard was like the worst experience of my life and because of it I left state I refuse to live in a state where people are okay with the treatment I was given let alone others were given now mind you my youngest son is 27 years old he was arrested a few weeks after me for the same thing a traffic ticket traffic ticket find you when my son was incarcerated in there my son watched a young man get his arm broke for no reason this is the kind of stuff going on in the jail there on Parr boulevard it's not acceptable behavior I know when I experienced what I experienced when I went to court there was like seven people in there with injuries and wheelchairs and cast is that what I need to be seen after I just got abused by three officers I'm sorry but what's going on in the jail systems and Reno ain't the only place that's on the street and I don't know where these cops are getting off at that that's how you treat people it is not we were all brothers and sisters we are all here to support and help one another not cause more chaos now I know I have a mental illness I'm more than willing to admit it I also have chronic PTSD and I suffer from the anxiety with that being said why are these cops not trained to handle the situation better than what they are do you think putting hands on somebody with a mental illness or chronic PTSD is the way that you handle stuff no you're making those people worse unless they do the fact that I didn't feel safe in Nevada no more and that's the worst feeling my children are there they might be adults but do you think it's okay for a mother to have to leave her hometown where she's live for the last 30 years where she raised her children because of the way cops want to act and treat people where did they come become my bad so entitled The people thinks it's okay to abuse someone it's not okay for anybody to put hands on anybody do know that and until Nevada gets right with herself and I mean the whole town it's not just the cops it's the hospitals as well it is society and I'm sorry where I'm living now oh I wish you guys can see how wonderful it is it's most amazing place beautiful country kind people they still have God in the hospitals such a wonderful feeling I wish Reno is like that I really do I would love to be a part of you guys if you knew how to grow but I'm willing to grow I'm willing to change but I won't be in a community that ain't and that's Nevada right now I'm hoping that somebody is willing to work on progress and things look better for my children that still remain there thank you for taking the time to listen to me to hear me
