Public Lands

Public lands in Nevada make up a large portion of the landbase. My concern is two fold. First, how public lands are transferred to private investors or municipalities. Most times there is very little public input from other than those that would gain financially. The second is the loss of access to public lands to military interests.. Most often the public is notified by news report that legislation has been introduced or that it has passed. More robust outreach needs to occur. I am not saying that these activities should not occur, just that input by the public should be better sought out. Ideas and concerns are being missed.
