Redirect public funding

Redirect more funding to public K-12 Education. While in general educating your constituents is a good in and of itself, it also allows Nevada residents to gain more specialized skills, diversify the job market in their cities, and demand higher paying positions. If this year is teaching us anything, it’s that Las Vegas specifically cannot rely on outside tourism alone. Vegas locals prop up the economy of the state, and if you drain them for all their worth, eventually the well is gonna run dry. LV could absolutely be a bastion of culture and professionalism, but it’s all a matter of how much you want to cater to ratty nepo babies and reality tv stars that just want to get drunk and party.
