Reform education system

Truly improving education, not just funding (2/3rds of which simply goes to employee compensation) and “graduation rates” with perpetually lowered standards, but actually improving the educational experience of our children. This would require a massive investment in educational opportunities, a a bold reform of our education system, a raising of standards and expectations, and accountability for the folks who oversee our systems and those who educate our children. I’d probably go as far as transitioning to a classical education vs the current low standards education where things like history are taught without historical context, where reading isn’t prioritized, where math and science are dummed down. I’d invest in sports which is one of the biggest motivators for performance.
