Resident term requirement increase on any and all Nevada elected officials
From "Welcome to The Nevada Forum!"
Go to the project
Any Elected Official holding public office in the State of Nevada should be required to have held a verifiable Primary Residence and Drivers License within the State of Nevada for 10 straight years leading up to filing for the elected office they are seeking. This will prevent out of state rif raf from imposing their prior failed policies within our GREAT STATE. This includes county commissioners who are representing areas of counties ie North, South, East , West. . Commissions should have equal representation not based on population, but geo mapping locations. Boards do not reflect total the needs of the entire counties.

I agree however 10 years is an extremely long time. Something more manageable like 3-5 years would be more reasonable. That’s enough time to see how things operate here and make relationships and connections possible to run for election.
