Therapies for children with autism in schools

My son has Level 1 autism, and because he looks normal, the school denied him ABA therapy since the Child Find program didn’t deem it necessary—even though his pediatrician and his autism specialist, Dr. Gaspar, had requested it. It’s unfair to deny a child the support he needs just because he looks or acts normal. They don’t realize the work and therapies that have cost me so much time and money to help my son. Right now, I don’t have health insurance, and I thought that at least the school could provide some support, but they denied him all types of therapy. I believe they should change the forms or the ways in which they evaluate neurodivergent children for Child Find.
