User 5640626 months ago Any Elected Official holding public office in the State of Nevada should be required to have held a verifiable Primary Residence and Drivers License within the State of Nevada for 10 straight years leading up to filing for the elected office they are seeking. This will prevent out of state rif raf from imposing their prior failed policies within our GREAT STATE. This includes county commissioners who are representing areas of counties ie North, South, East , West. . Commissions should have equal representation not based on population, but geo mapping locations. Boards do not reflect total the needs of the entire counties.

User 5640626 months ago Nevada needs to limit terms of all levels of Senate and Congressional leaders. This will make sure there is fair and relevant representation in these offices. We also should require state representives to be a resident of this state and or district for a period of 10 years or more before being to run for these positions . This will protect our residents from out of state influences imposing their ridiculous issues in our state.

User 5640626 months ago The state legislature needs to mandate health care requirements and assist in funding health facilty. Example , Travel from Reno to Las Vegas. Right in the middle of that journey is Tonopah. If you make the trip and have a medical event, good luck. The county closed the only advanced medical care hospital years ago. The state needs to mandate these facilities. The county only cares about south end of the county, and ignores the needs of the citizens.

User 5640626 months ago Our state sales tax is ridiculous. State and Counties are out of control. We need Official's that will reel in the over spending and waste , and that will truly represent the residents of Nevada. Any resident over the age of 65 should not have to pay property tax on their primary Residence. Income property would be exempt from this waiver. This will take a Government with some balls to adopt legislation of this nature.
