Homeschool education

Our state passed legislation years ago for homeschool families to be able to use the funds the school would normally get to buy curriculum and other education essentials, this is a law that is already passed, the problem is they never fund the program. As a Christian it is my responsibility for my children’s upbringing and overall paideia, so we have chosen to homeschool our kids at minimum k-8, the public school system is failing we are ranked 48 in the country what parent wouldn’t homeschool at this time surprise me, and homeschool families should be able to use these funds. The law was passed and yet the legislators refuse to fund this program. This would seem to be to be their duty to fund a program that’s been legislatively passed and signed by the governor. Why is this program not funded? Because a certain party opposes it or what ?
